For God to direct us to the local church He wants us to be a part of in the city of San Salvador
8/23/11 - God has lead us to be part of a great church here called Iglesia Bautista Vida Nueva. We are excited to begin building relationships and connecting with this local Body of Christ.
For God to guide us to the house He wants us to have in San Salvador
8/8/11 - God provided us with a great house to rent. It is close to the girl's school and also the church we are going to be a part of. Thanks God!
Pray that God directs us to the next place He wants us to be in order to setup a base of operations for the ministry of Que Dice la Biblia
2/16/11 - God has clearly directed us to stay in El Salvador, but to move to the capital city of San Salvador. There we will setup a base of operations for the ministry of Que Dice la Biblia. Our projected move date is May of 2011. Praise God for His clear direction!
Pray that we are able to obtain residency here in El Salador quickly. Papers are submitted and we are waiting for approval.
2/2/10 - Two weeks ago I paid the fees to obtain our one year residency, and I spoke with the Immigration Office this week and they told me that our residency cards are ready to be picked up. After a year of paper work, office visits, lawyers and fees, we have our one year residency! Thanks for praying!

8/14/09 - While not exactly the answer we were expecting, God has made it clear that He wants us to rent the house in Raytown again. God has already provided us with a family to rent the house. Praise God! Thanks for praying.
That God would provide someone to buy our car and all of the furnishings in our house in Costa Rica.
11/17/08 - God has provided a couple to buy our car, and a family that will be arriving in January is going to buy all of our furnishings as well as rent the house we are in currently. Praise God for his awesome provision!
Ryan will be taking a trip to Gotera, El Salvador on October 31st to check out a ministry opportunity. Please pray that God gives us clearly open, or clearly closed doors.
11/11/08 - God faithfully has given us clear direction that He wants us in El Salvador next. Praise God!
Pray that Keeley and I finish strong during our final weeks of Language School.
9/10/08 - Language School was great. We finished strong and learned so much. It was a difficult, but great year. We are so grateful to God for his care of us.
Pray that the documents needed to apply for our student visas are processed quickly. Currently we are here on tourist visas and must leave the country every 90 days to renew them.
5/21/08 - Although not the answer we were expecting, it has now become clear that obtaining student visas most likely will not be possible. There is a small chance we would attempt to obtain some type of residency, but most likely it means we will need to leave the country every 90 days for the remainder of our time in Costa Rica.
We are considering moving to a different rental house in December. Please pray that God gives us wisdom about the right house to choose.
12/07 - Praise God! We were able to move into a different house that is about 7 minutes drive from the Language School. It is a lot more house for just a little bit more money. We are in a neighborhood that has fewer Americans now too, so it will give us a better feel for the culture.
Pray that God will direct us to the right car to buy. The cars are expensive here and the roads are really hard on them.
10/07 - God provided us a with a great car. It is a 1996 Toyota Corolla that another missionary who is going back to the states needed to sell. It is in great shape and will really help us to get around much easier.
Pray that God gives us wisdom to sell our rent our house.
8/07 - God clearly directed us to rent our house to a couple in our church. They are excited to be in the house and would like to buy it in the future.

8/07- God sold our van! One couple came and looked at it, and they bought it! Praise God.
Pray that our financial support will reach the level needed for our departure in August of 2007.
5/23/07 - Our support level has been at or very close to our budget goal for April and May. This consistent support will allow us to leave on time in August.
Pray that we can sell our 1996 Ford F-150 truck. Need to start lightening our load of things and costs.
10/17/06 - God sold my truck!!! A man came to our house and was looking for a truck exactly like mine. After taking a test drive, he wrote me a check and that was it. Praise God!!
Pray for wisdom as we establish our new Prayer and Support Team at KCBT.
